For this piece, I was inspired to make a garment that looks like a pile of leaves. The shawl is knit, as well as the closure tie. I crocheted 93 leaf appliques; there are three different shapes in four different colors. I then tied each applique to the shawl, and attached the tie through its loops in the shawl. This piece was very time demanding but very rewarding.
