The Family Garden is a green knit blanket I created for my sister. This is my first piece experimenting with both crochet and knit. There are seven crochet appliques: three are blue and four are pink. Each of these flowers represent a member of my immediate family so it can serve as a constant reminder of the love and connection we have with my newborn sibling.
