For this piece, I used preexisting imagery to create a collage. I utilized pieces of Mann Ray's work, images from NASA, Taylor Swift's Folklore album cover, and various other images. I started this collage by choosing a few descriptive words and doing extensive writing on the emotions, memories, and thoughts I had surrounding those words. After analyzing the writing, I identified overarching themes and repeating imagery. I then sought out imagery that lined up with the emotions I found to be evoked from the descriptors. I then pieced together the collage and chose colors that also were in line with the ideas I chose.
